My name is Robin Burke. I am currently the secretary for the San Leon MUD Board. I have been on the board just shy of 3 years. I have lived in San Leon, Texas since 2014. I came here for work and fell in love with the community. I own and operate 3 business here; X-Ray Location Services Inc., Black Ninja Dog Rentals Inc., and the Eagle Point Press newspaper. I have attended most San Leon MUD meetings long before I was appointed. X-Ray Locating is a construction based business that locates underground utilities prior to excavation. I started the company in 2008. This job gives me the unique experience of working with many major utility companies. All 3 businesses are successful. I participate in many local charities including; SHS (Sisters Helping Sisters), The San Leon Cemetery, and one of three people who run our Bayshore community NOW program through our group Bayshore Town Square, a member of CERT, the Citizen Sheriff’s Academy of Galveston, and a member of the American Legion Post #291. A Veteran of the United States Navy. My company volunteers for the Texas Equusearch assisting Tim Miller with cold cases across several states. I’m running to continue the work that we are doing.
