Last week, we were advised by Texas Pride that personnel issues were impacting their service schedule and they would unfortunately be unable to service the Wednesday recycling as usual. The language in the communication led us to believe they would be servicing all of San Leon this Wednesday. However, as the day has gone on, we've received calls from the community about the recycling not getting serviced so we reached out to the area supervisor to verify what was going on. What they intended to relay to us regarding the reschedule was that the following regular service date would be the next pickup for the customers who were missed last Wednesday (i.e. two weeks from then); we were under the impression that they meant the next service day that the area as a whole would be picked up. We apologize for the miscommunication and will be meeting with Texas Pride to ensure clearer communication lines are established going forward. Updates to impacted service areas are sent out daily via email.
