Hurricane Preparedness

It’s hard to believe that the 2020 Hurricane Season is already upon us! The San Leon MUD and the San Leon Volunteer Fire Department are prepared to assist and protect our community in the event of a storm affecting our area. The San Leon MUD will leave water on as long as possible and Blackboard notifications will be sent out in the event we do need to terminate services to protect our reserves. When evacuation orders are issued, please follow these guidelines before you leave:
- Secure any loose items around your home.
- Cut off electricity, water and gas at the street level or mainline.
- Do not leave your pets.
